spoiler... functional??

What exactly is the use of a spoiler behind our car... why is it there? Ferrari cars... Lamborghini cars.. they dunt have them... so why should a myvi or an astina have it?


The function of a spoiler is to spoil the wind flow that is going through your car... that is what its name suggests~ when the wind flow is distrubed, (depending on the design of the spoiler) it helps create a drag force to push the car downward.. so in high speeds.. the car wouldn't fly off~
But, laa ni... malaysians only use it for cosmetic reasons... look at this example below... nice design.. looks aerodynamic... seems functional...

But.. then, when applied in real life...... baek jadi meja je~ :P
